So I bought this pita in January and it's been the worst nightmare, which considering I'm a single disabled mum ... Yer not ideal.
After multiple little issues the car failed to start. Long story short they replaced the glow plugs tested the injectors as the read error said voltage too high on injectors.
Car came back in less than ok state and finance company agreed we give it back, but not before I have a replacement vehicle. So I'm waiting on motorbility to finish processing and I'll have a suitable vehicle. In the meantime....
I got diagnosed with Cancer and the day after the car failed again. AA came out less than useless third party who didn't even know how to jump start the car! Dog walker jumped the car the following day so we took to shopping outlet with a Halfords for if we need help.
To get the vehicle started this time we had to select ALL gears before placing in neutral whilst jump cables attached.
Today it failed to start again. AA came out and this time the original AA van arrived and he tried his darnedest to figure out what it was that was stopping it. He isolated the issue and hit the fuse box which made the car turn over! Ureka only we can't get into the fuse box! Arggg image attached considering if sawing the bolt head will work but need to remove battery to get at it!
Anyone know what relay repair may have been brought back to life by hitting fuse box? Bear in mind car worked fine for three days between failing to start.
Historically noticed flashing mileage indicating possible ECU module issues but no read errors after this occurs and twice in 6 months makes me wonder if that and the car failing to unlock with the double click may also be linked???
Tbh I'm thinking it's badly repaired but I'm due to do a holiday at the weekend so not really wanting to be carless
