You might already have one, but just in case... I bought one of the ones from Eternal car on eBay. I bought the van sized one, cut a couple of slots for the back seats and folded the spare over under the back seat. It works well - it wouldn't be waterproof anymore of course - but protects the full length of the floor and the underside of the seats when folded. It works for me but if you carry 5 people and a boot full of manure get the short version

What dimensions changed with the 2002 model?

Don't know about that but I was led to believe the 2005 model was a bit longer.
I ordered a boot mat from that same trader last Friday so will wait and see.

Mine came midweek & fits a treat. It'll be a little while before the sides settle into place (it comes rolled up) but looks the part & will certainly help keep the boot in good condition.
