Doblo Doblo Cargo Speaker upgrade

Hi guys, so I replaced my factory speakers when I got my Doblo a year ago to some 160mm JVCs. They’re better than the factory ones but obviously lack any bass what so ever.

Considered an underseat sub but wondered if anyone had successfully replaced the 160mm door speakers with 6x9s? Planning on running them off an amp as the head unit I fitted has a pre out and would rather 6x9s than an underseat sub if they’ll fit.
Not bothered about chopping the inside of the door card to get the clearance etc
