Technical Doblo 1.9jtd alternator

Hi guys, first post and needing advice, got a 2005 1.9jtd and it looks like the alternator pulley clutch has gone, keeps throwing off belts by snagging and making the tensioner slacker, observed by AA technician, so is it possible to replace the pulley, or would it be easier to replace the full alternator, can't find one in local scrapyards, but found a one on eBay from a 1.9 Alfa 156.
