well fiat forum might have a number plate business? police wont know :) lol

AFAIK, there is some sort of register of number plate suppliers/manufacturers.

As H says you need a code of some sort on the number plate....i just took a photo of the code off the standard Daewoo fit ones on my car. You can see the number ever so slightly, but its so small - but legal.

Here you go... see it along the line to the right of the phone number 0800 050607

Its the number plates which are in stupid italic writing or small writing which i hate (and ticket)

but is it legal with nothing at the bottom, as i see plenty of cars without writing at the bottom... Craig

dont want to fork out £20+ and get them on and get pulled over and done over by police now do i..

btw i would have 3D letters like below.. but now thinking of K99 CRG not K19 CRG

Thank god that there is some sence in the world!

Whats the difference between an (for examples sake) abarth logo on the plate or as a sticker stuck right next to the numberplate? Getting anal about if the manufacturer name is on the plate is stupid.. What do they expect to achieve? Don't you think that organised crimiminal gangs who are cloning cars are capable of having number plates made?

Plus what about cars with plates made a while ago?
