well yes if i had of known i would haveAs Stu has just stated, you should have a TV licence from the time you start using a TV receiver which certainly includes a Satelite/cable box and almost certainly computer type streaming.
The alternative would have been to buy/start using your TV a week or so later.

BBC is Ace value TBH, nothing even comes close for even handed quality & coverage of all aspects of life & interests.
Sky doesnt even rate ranking alongside the Beeb... so comparing like for like costs its a no contest.
BBC is Brilliant in many ways, we are lucky to have such programming, it should NEVER be privatised, the adverts would follow soon after... £12 / month... about a pint of beer a week Pub prices...
