100hp seat back were digging in my back so i've swapped them for 595 seats, which dig in my backside. :(

I'm quite skinny also see nee idea how anyone slighty overweight can sit in these seats.

Is it just me? Or are Italians funny shaped?

Well they definitely could do better, but I had a 100HP and the seat were the best I have ever had. The long arm short leg thing was and is the problem. Bravo has OK seats I never get acute back pain but would like lumber adjustment. New Panda seats again are OK but you would never describe them as good. Poor lumber support is the big issue. You would think after 120 years they would have cracked this simple thing. Its pretty fundamental!

Original punto seats won a UK charopractic award.

Then FIAT got designers from the US.

I HAVE SHORT LEGS.. so Italian cars suit me

No great complaints with seats.

Alfa leather was always the punto upgrade ;)

I too have short legs and found the Panda seats fine for me. I also never had any problem with the seat falling apart on me (although I did have custom-made seat covers fitted within a month of ownership which may have protected the seat from this.

I can confirm though that Alfa leather seats are the ultimate luxury and I'm totally loving them. :)

In the 1.2 Dynamic I always feel perched on the seats but have no back pain over long journeys (>200 miles).

The 100HP seats are good and no problems with long drives. I suspect when the base support springs fail it will cause a hard frame to press into the base of the spine. They don't feel especially solid.

I had a blown disc 18 years ago and could not even sit in a Vauxhaul - not one of them. I still find them uncomfortable. After trying just about every car available I ended up with a new Audi with sports seats. Who knows what they are like these days with all the rules changes on safety.

I drive my 100HP with boattrailer every year from Holland to Croatia (Dalmatia 1700Km one way) with no problem whatsoever. And yes... my spine is not the best in the world (stenoses), have slight:D overweight, but must have short legs.

I've done a couple of round trips from the Midlands to Scotland, approx 600+ miles, in a day and I've never had an issue.

True they could be a bit a plusher and more supportive but overall I think they do the job very well.
