hi

i have a bravo 1.2 2001

and plan to the do the service myself, i hve the haynes manusl and all tools

but what parts woudl i need for a good service to be compelted.

simialr to a gaarge full service but forgettign about putting it on ramps etc.

any sites where i can get a full service kit

please advise

if you've got the tools then the service parts u'll need will be- oil (4.5l i think), oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs. I think there is a couple of other things u could change but these items are generally what is included in a full service

As Wimmy said, its all in the Haynes.

dont bother with the fuel filter, its burried in the Tank and is a royal PITA to get to

you will need iol, oil filter, plugs, leads, air filter at bare minimum. if you can aswell, fluch the rad and cooling system through and refil with fresh coolant

Have a look in your handbook chap. It states what should be done at each service up to 96k iirc.

ANY ideas on where to source the parts?

there is nothing local

There will be somewhere... Halfords, motor parts, Motor world, at a push even go to your local garage and ask them to order the parts?

eurocarparts to.

Where are you? I've never heard of a town that didn't have a motorspares store nearby....

A village, maybe, but other than way out in the sticks i find it hard to imagine anywhere more than a 15 minute drive from a motorspares store

lemme know your postcode and i'll look for ya..
