Changed the discs\pads on my 2001 Sei Sporting yesterday....The wheelstuds were INCREDIBLY tight ! Took me around 15mins each to extract....Is this normal???
They were just as tight on the way back in even greased up with copperslip. There is no thread damage and they aint rusty.
I changed the disc 'cause one of them was scored and squeeling, yet the calipers are moving (sliding) freely and the piston moves in and out the bore with no problem.
Using the car today, I thought I heard a squeek at one point !! But I may have imagined it.....
One other thing...In the mornings when I press the brake, its like the pedal is sticky...only for the first press, after that all is normal.
Any comments??
