Hey,

I'm getting my bravo HGT back in one piece at last (as some of you already know from other posts)

I was just looking at getting a new front bumper and i know the hgt is different to the other models but i just looked on

http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/?man=2049&Fiat

I always thought the HGT was wider but this says otherswise?

The bonnets are the same, as are the slam panels? This is really giving me a headache trying to work out what i can fit and how?

Any help would save my head imploding !!!

Cheers
:)

without reading all of it, what i believe is the wheelbase is the same on all models, but the hgt arches are flared , hence the standard bumber not fitting, a few people have fitted the marea/hgt bumber to a non hgt but it never looks quite right, and you would get the same result fitting standars bumber to hgt/ marea

Fiat Brava 1.2SX Formula
Fiat Brava 1.4s
Fiat Marea Weekend 2.0
i must buy another fiat :) may be a bravo?

I think its just front arches/wings and the bumper thats different. So if you go for a non-hgt bumper it might not fit the hgt arches.

the hgt has marea wings to accomodate the wider front wheel track (which is also due to the marea spec parts used, such as longer driveshafts). hgt needs a wider bumper to match the wings. everything else is the same as non-hgt models.

HGT wings and marea wings are slightly different. The marea doesn't have the skirts.

Cheers guys yeah thought as much just kinda confused me this morning.

Where they state Width (not Wheel base) which two points do they measure from and to.

The HGT width is 1750mm where as the hlx etc is down as 1755mm????

Guess its a lot of hassle trying to get a non hgt to fit an hgt. A**E!! had got areally good price on the bumper as well.
