We are on a holiday in the Czech Republic and are having problems stopping the engine. While turning the key to off the engine keeps running. Sometimes the next attempt is stops but I allready had to stop the engine by letting the clutch comming up. Does anyone have a idea where to look for the error or does someone have an alternative tip to stop the engine?

possibly the run/stop solenoid on the pump
unless its physically stuck open

My old '97 2.5 used to do that sometimes. If I started it before the preheat light had gone out I couldn't turn it off without using the handbrake and a stall.
