Technical diesel gasket sets

Will the 1.7 diesel gasket set be the same as the 1.9TD one? They have the same bore I think so should not be any difference but they may be made of a better material on the TD ones. Any advice?

In case you're wondering why I ask - our local factors has a set for the 1.7 diesel but not the 1.9TD.

No. the TD one will be stronger [to withstand turbo pressure] and possibly thicker too. Do not use the 1.7 one.
