I have the red injector light coming on and staying on and then after time it goes out a day or two later i have no loss of power.

i have delphi diagnostics and the 16pin eobd to 3 pin fiat adapter.

marea

1.9jtd 105

1998

i believe the mareas 3 pin is the one on the engine bay fuse box cover but it only has two wires going two it, has anyone got a pic of the plugs location please.

First things first, either your car is a 1998 TD100 OR a JTD 105, the JTD range of engines was introduced to the Marea in 1999.

OBD2 connector is used on JTD Mareas, the connector is found underneath the drivers side fuse box, half way towards the pedals, facing the floor pan.
TD Mareas have the 3 pin socket under the bonnet, there are 2 side by side, one for the injection, one for the airbag, i can't remember which one is which.

Nothing under dash board there is a plug on the engine bay fuse box and a plug on the loom on top of the o.s.f suspension turret

Keep trying, it is under the dash, put your head next to the pedals and look up, it is there, accessible without undoing anything except the little plastic dust cap.
this guide has a photo which shows the obd connector sticking out, it should give you a hint as where to look, it's quite well hidden to be fair, you're far from the first (me included) to have struggled to find it.
