basically last week i noticed my upper left wisdom t0ooth gum was a little sore
so today i have felt the rooth is though the gum
but my old dentist 6 months ago said i am unlikley to get wisdom teeth cause there aint alot of room
whare its coming though i can guess there is enouth room

how many wisdom teeth do you have
In your mouth

and should i go to the dentist
i dont see a reason to

i was only there 2 weeks ago as well
normal check up

also heres a poll

and do they come in, in pairs?

*counts wisdom teeth*

I got 4 widom teeth one for each corner. When I was 11 the dentist took 1 tooth from each side of my mouth out. I was left with gaps and now my wisdom teeth have come through they pushed the gaps together so now my teeth are in line perfectly (a brace at 11 helped of course)

You have 4 wisdom teeth - one in each corner, they dont come in pairs, but they all tend to come at roughly the same period so once the first one starts they will all come roughly together but at different times

No need to go to dentist i dont think at this stage, it will be painful though till the tooth has fully retracted through the gum, if there is further discomfort e.g its pushing on the other teeth or the pain lasts for ages go back to dentist, they will probably remove, a lot tend to get removed but i am like emmam88 mine fitted in place due to removal of teeth early in life and a brace

apple i hope it aint painfull :)

in the day it isnt too bad, because your mouth is active and your mind elsewhere e.g talking, eating etc

On a night though when trying to sleep thats when you could feel the pain - for me anyway

got one of mine removed
it never fully came through the gum and rotted under the gum
then abcessed
probably one of the worst pains ive had
couldnt get access so had to take a weeks penicillin (sp)
then he made various attempts to get at it
failed so i was referred to get it under general
in the next 2 weeks it really hurt after the previous attempts
exventually removed in GA

feeling better now? ;)

I hated the night before I had my root channel (Think thats it), when I was on my paper round it was fine, when I was at school it was fine, went trampolining and it was fine, soon as I went home and didn't have anything to do, it hurt like hell. Funny thing is, when I went to the dentist, it stopped hurting lol.

I think I have wisdom teeth, have some teeth at the back of my mouth, that I dont remember being there :S.

I had all 4 as well. Gave me all sorts of problems for years. I had them removed under a GA just under 2 years ago. If I known it was going to be that easy I would have had them done years ago. Had them taken out on the Wednesday was out washing the car on Thursday morning. Only problem I did get, was an infection started on the Friday but antibiotics cleared that up in a few days.

I just had long horrific pain due to flaps of the gum :( It was just one big blag. Gives you an excuse to have wisky tho. Or is it brandy?

My two bottom ones came through a couple months ago and my top ones are coming through and are really hurting me, don't think i have room for them.

Really need to ring the dentist because i wore Train Tracks up until 18 so if they push there way through will ruin all the good work i've got done so probably will have to have mine out :(

xXxXx

If you're scared of the dentist, simply sit yourself in the chair then, as he's leaning over you, unzip his flies, reach inside & say "now we're not going to hurt each other are we?"

Your treatment will be unbelievably pain-free.
Dentists just need a bit of incentive.:D
