Hi guys,
Got my windows tinted on my punto mk2b today!
I will be ordering a badgless grill in a few days time, does anyone know if i need a new boot if i debadge that too?

I also want too remove the stripping on the side of the car?
What is the best way to do this? And would the paint be a darker shade underneath?

Thanks..:D

i believe the Mk2 punto boot is a straight swap (no large reflectors on it tho) and wont require much work as the badges are all stuck on

The mk2b i believe its recessed in :( so either Fill or weld the space up

Removing the Bump strips - check out the Guides section there are a few guides
Check before removal if any respray has been carried out, as most cheap spray jobs mask the bump strips instead of removing them :(

You will need to get some sort of sticky glue remover too

The 'punto' lettering on your boot should come off with no problems however when you take the large circular fiat badge theres is a recess behind the badge. This could be filled/plated then the whole boot would need a respray :)
