A salesman will do anything to sell, but has no right to tell you what to buy.

Odd, I had never thought about this before... but yes mine will probably be de-branded when it arrives.

BUT just think about this... when you are looking at classic cars how nice is it to see a dealer sticker in the window? there are even guys on eBay making reproductions of 50's & 60's ones - maybe we should be thinking long term to when our cars are classics.

Mine didn't have them on when I bought it - but I would have removed them either way. I don't have a dealer tax holder either, its just a Direct Line one.

The only one thats still on the car is right behind the rear-view mirror. Some cleaning company or something? Every time I clean the car I think to myself "I'll get that took off" ... then, when i'm cleaning the inside I completely forget about it as its hidden by the mirror. Will get round to it one day.

I would say it depends.

I can't say I will or won't, yet I can explain why I would and if I would indeed keep the dealer sticker on. If I receive good service, I feel that I couldn't ask for more and that there's been no let down then of course I'd leave the sicker on. (Maybe) after awhile I would remove it if I believe its served a purpose.

Yet, Bad service... Let downs etc I wouldn't..

I saw these dealer stickers in Sicily and thought they were well cute. Thought someone had named their car until I saw a few of them and realised they were for a dealer. May nick the idea though :D

I was mad when I took my car into AC for a service and it came back out with a sticker (I had removed the original). Fortunately it peeled off easily but I was annoyed enough to mention it to Fiat when they phoned me for a customer review of my service experience. Next time I get my car serviced there I will make a point telling them not to stick their branding on my car - their service simply doesn't warrant free advertising.

words of wisdom there!

I have left the dealer sticker on my Doblo but I am thinking of adding something RUDE to it as Iv had sooooooooo much trouble with them!!:bang:
