ive got 2 one in the post back and one just posted.
depending on how they tern out i will sell 1.
I use a C&B 268 cam it gives great torque and with the other mods makes the car much more drivable
I swapped from a 40 mm to 36mm tb recently as i need the 40mm for my turbo and TBO the car now feels as though that is how it (should have) left the factory
edit virtually all tuning parts can be shared between 1242 and 1108 only the stroke and slightly bigger bore are the difference but if you'd searched you would have found that out
OK if you go to the 75and 16V heads they are different

i would be interseted in one for my N/A cinq 
as for the cam/H/T leads n plugs,,,,,,the plugs and leads will fit both engines and i think the cam will to but im sure someone esle will comfirm that if its true

ive just had a mcrich chip solderd into my ecu and its been of the car 4 2 weeks. will it be ok? will i need 2 use the red key to start it?
42 weeks is a long time, fuel will probs be stale

should be ok, i had mine BBR starchipped a few weeks ago, had the ECU and batt disconnected for about 4 days and it started lovely,,,,exspect the car to run a little rough for a few mins while it recalibrates etc this is normal with most cars after the batt has been disconected.
started mine with the blue key as the N/A cinq doesnt have a red one

funny iv red that i have to drive 100 mile till it setals down is this true.
possibly i couldnt tell you for certain, all i no is that the ECU stores data to use on the cars normal running behaviour and when the bat is disconnected it forgets and has to recalibrate for idle speed,ignition etc
you may find it runs spot on after a min or so as i did though
