General Damp backseat

Hi all,
Got a current problem with the HGT, it seems to be getting damp in under the passenger rear seat, it seems to be rain related, but waters not leaking through the window, I just pulled the rear seats out and can't find anything, seems to be near the seatbelt bolt or around that area I think. Anyone had this before or know where the water could be coming in from?

if you are certain its not coming through rear windows then next thing to check is rear wheel arches,some of these are getting very bad now on early puntos
get a friend to put a hose pipe up the wheely arch while you look inside

Also, as a word of warning, if it looks like water is coming in round the seat belt securing bolt, then rear seatbelts could be seriously compromised in terms of safety.

This would be a definite MOT failure point.

Have a look at the underside near the securing points - if they are badly corroded they will leak and be unsafe.

Also, I'm sounding like a broken record, check rear floor pan from underneath, poke with a screwdriver.
