General DAB replacement aerial

Hi all
Whilst trying to sort the airbag light (currently off- wahey!) I got round to fitting a DAB aerial to the Multi. The standard aerial snapped a while ago, and I had a DAB stereo that came with an aerial. So I removed the interior light and surround, all the plastic-y bits underneath and removed the original aerial. I then managed to mutilate it so the DAB aerial sits behind it and the cable goes through the original hole, under the headlining (suprisingly easy to remove AND refit!), down the passenger side A pillar trim (also suprisingly easy to remove and refit), under the dash and into the stereo! I now have ace DAB reception- result!

So this was an easy fix really! Can't believe how simple it was to get the headlining loose and the trim back in place- I await the leaks that may follow having disturbed everything!

So if anyone wants to know how to get DAB this is how to do it! Could have fitted it on the back but cable wasn't long enough. Doesn't look perfect, but works great!

At what cost are the ariels and stereo as halfords seem rather expensive for this sort of thing

Not sure how much it is separately- it came with a Philips CEM 3000B stereo with DAB and iPhone connectivity, which cost £70 off eBay!
Don't know how much they are on their own.

Works beautifully now!
