Technical Steering rack replacement?

Has anyone got any advice on replacing a steering rack?
My Multipla is leaking power steering fluid that is dripping out on the passenger side and appears to be coming from the rack gaiter.
I have a donor car and thinking about taking the rack from it and replacing the leaking one, does anyone have any experience on how difficult or tricky it will be?
Is the the gaiter the likely source of the leak or is there anywhere else it might be worth investigating?

Any ideas or advice appreciated.

It will be a bit of a pain to do so practice on the donor, you may have to drop the subframe to get access, try not to damage the pipes, make sure steering is set central on both vehicles and hopefully a master spline will line up on the lower part of the steering shaft to the rack, if air bag system make sure to follow instructions and disconnect the battery.
Rubber gaiter is not the source of the oil leak as pressure seals further in steering rack.
