Crossover positioning

Hey all,

Iv just got a pair of 6.5" Clarion componants to go in my front doors.

Im going to mount the tweeters in the stock location and iv bought some 16cm adaptors for the doors.

Im just wandering where is the best place to mount the crossovers without them being on show.

Where have you put yours and have you got any pics?

mine are under the dash at either side. The tweeter wire drops straight down to them and then just one wire to the door. No pics though, sorry!

Mine too, one's in the fusebox area, the other's above the glovebox. I just strapped the crossovers themselves in place with cable ties, cos I couldn't find any suitable bolt holes!

Iv seen many different ways of running the wires into the doors, which is the easiest do you recon?

i cheated and have mine running from the plastic sill trim to behind the door card as i did not want to drill the door. if your doing it properly you should really drill the door or find which part of that big connector plug is not used and get it through there.
