General creaking noise from mid console

Hey all ,

I have a creaking sound coming from the middle console and to be honest have it since day one and not been able to eliminate it.
Has someone experienced it and found the exact root cause?
It must be the console itself since when I grab it firmly it stops.
Have already disassembled the console rubbed the parts with silicon oil but with no effect.
Anyone:worship:?

Probably someone did take out the centre console and removed the filt tape.
You have to build it out again, put some filt tape between and remount.

All the felt is still present, was also my first thought ......
Again was from day 1 already there, car dealer said all Barchetta have these noises.
To be honest I have never driven another Barchetta in the last 15 years so difficult to judge whether this is true or not ?
Hence my question: does anyone have the same noise or am I the only one?

Mine creaks & squeaks a bit, but then the whole car creaks like an old sailing vessel much of the time!

Have already ... rubbed the parts with silicon oil but with no effect.

Careful ... that can be addictive! (and apparently it makes you go blind, but not deaf)

Felt tape is the solution. you cant put a figure on how many rolls of it I have put in barchetta

And going to a real garage isn't really a solution for getting minor things fixed on a barchetta.

Well maybe I will renew all these self-adhesive felt and hope it's better:idea:
Olivier were did you find the correct felt tape anyway(prefer to have something on a roll, just like ordinaire celotape)?
