I renewed components in the Fuel System over 12 months ago including
the carbon flushing filter
the petrol tank rubbers and plastic valves and the separator under the hood on the nearside
i also renewed the flushing filter solenoid
the fuel smell disappeared after this
however i get a clicking noise from the area around the flushing filter solenoid when accelerating which vanishes when i take off the accelerator
is this normal and maybe the old solenoid was not working hence no noise previously ??
