Hi all
I've just put an 899 engine in a 1999 Robin and have a few loose ends to sort out on the electrical side.
Not important but annoying is a wire I can't identify in the 4 pin connector with the switched live, MIL feed and CODE connection to the ECU. It's violet with a black trace and looks like it's for carrying a bit of current, about 0.5 mm2.
I've removed the immo from the ECU as I didn't have the origianl CODE unit, however it's something I'd like to add. I have an Alfa 156 with a CODE (1 I think) system. Are the various systems compatible or do I need to find myself an older or Cinq/Sie specific one?
Finally the evap system is not fitted, however I'd like to get rid of the MIL. Any ideas on what value resistor will be enough to fool it into thinking it's still there?
Thanks for any help
