I bought a Corolla Gti-16 as a project car.

(pics to follow if you want)

What I really need is a new Tailgate and Sunroof

This is where you guys come in :D I know that some of you like nothing better than to spend your weekends wondering around scrapyards. All I asking is that you keep your eyes open for a 88-92 Corolla (does not have to be Gti) and let me know if you see one.

Also does anyone know of any JAP specific Scrapies?

Thanks (y)

one of my all time fav cars, handling like a track car combined with an engine that revs forever, its a great way to spend your days, just a shame about the rust. if it wasnt for the insurance i definately would have owned one back in 99.

i'm guilty of spending much of my time wandering around srapyards, and i must say these things are hard to find these days, 5 years ago they were hard to find, these days they're bloody rare. i cant remember the last time i saw one in a yard.

Toyota still stock the sunroof - £300!!!

Looks like I may have to do some fabricating!

@ dave - Thanks

@ Custard - Plain old slide only I think (its not glass)

Need one of these? It's certainly not new but could be tidied up easily.

Edit: Got a couple of doors too.

Woooooooo thanks for the offer!

The rust is always on the righthand bottom of the screen!

Shame you so far away from me :(

Have you got the rest of the car?

WOOOO got a totaly rust free tailgate being delivered for £80. Its red but thats not to hard to change. I knew that if I checked Ebay every day it would come along.

Sunroof is proving very hard to find!

(not to self - Get some pics uploaded)

Not my car.
Correct colour, shape - Wrong wheels (i have std alloy wheels)

(TBH it is a bad pic because my car has most of the bumper bits colour coded as standard)
