Hi
Had a real problem getting the R front control arm off (the L came off fine!) and now need a set of bolts.
Any clues on where to get them or the sizes?
Help appreciated as I am now stuck!
Thanks

Done quite a few without needing to change bolts, but got held up for 2 days the first time I needed a new bolt...

Think the part numbers are:
7601061 Bolt
15503621 Nut
but please check before ordering.

Dealer or Shop4Parts were best options when I needed them in a hurry. Dealer was out of stock of the bolts.
Not sure of size/thread, but not a part to try and save money on...

(I keep a couple of spares now, but easy to be wise afterwards)

Hi
Realised I also need the larger bolts for the wishbone. Any help on the sizes or where I can get them appreciated. I've ordered the pinch bolt and nut.
Thanks

No idea. Take it you are nowhere near a Fiat or Ford main dealer as they would be the easiest root to take if you are in a hurry.

Never managed to kill one of them before, so I guess best bet is to try ePer or dealer for part number and order from whoever can deliver quickest.
(It must have been seriously stubborn - it's a fair sized bolt. Assume you dosed with PlusGas or a good penetrating fluid first? The pinch bolts I ruined had been soaked in WD40 by someone else overnight, but... I don't really rate WD40 as a penetrating fluid and normally use PlusGas)

original poster is asking for the main bolts not the pinch bolts that was in the previous reply

Different bolts. Same source of supply. ;)

The clamp bolts on my front struts (not the same I know) where very tight. I was expecting to need new ones, but a 600mm breaker bar with impact spec sockets got it off. Once removed, they were OK and cleaned up nicely. The heads and threads are now protected with a layer of copper grease.

Thanks all for the help.
Tracked down the part number for the larger bolts (M12x1.25x100mm) Fiat number 46748018. I also understand there is a Triscan Kit number 8500 15402 but am struggling to find any in stock. I'll update with a supplier once I fine some in stock.

Thanks Dave. Bolts now ordered. Our Panda (2005 4x4) failed its MOT in a major way so have been working on it for a few weeks (Holidays and work have got in the way.) The nearside arm came off easily but the offside......
After much soaking, heating, levering and general tool abuse the grinder was deployed - hence the need for new bolts. The sub frames are fairly rusty so once I've done the MOT work they'll get brushed and sealed.
I've uploaded my MOT failure as I suspect (apart from the horror story read)it provides a bit of a checklist for future MOT's

Old bolts are often best treated as used consumables. Chop them off and replace.

All you can do on the front subframe is clean off the loose paint and rust then seal with something oily like Waxoyl. It will need regular "top-ups".

The back subframe is quite easy to remove with axle stands (and wood blocks) under the jacking points and a trolley jack under the axle. I had mine grit blasted and zinc metal sprayed for £60. Hot dip galvanised would not be much more cost and that's it "job done". I still had to prime and paint adding hassle and costs.

I used spring rubber seats at both ends of the springs. This reduces the metal to metal grinding between spring and axle. If you do not want the slightly raised ride height, then some 1/2" rubber hydraulic hose will slide along the spring. You will need rubber grease to get it one full turn.

Thin soft rubber tube is too weak and rubs through in a few miles.
