Hi, just bought myself a fiat stilo 1.9 jtd with sat nav, i'm trying to hook up a subwoofer and amplifier. problem is the remote wire from the amplifier, i can't find anywhere to place it on the back of the original headunit, i've read the manual for the amplifier and it says to connect the remote wire to the accessory ciruit. can anyone tell me where it is located and how to connect the wire.

cheers.

how did you connect the amp up to the sat nav then? i mean did you have to use seperate wires or just them red and white cable plugs (audio cord) dont know what the official name is .. im wanting to do the same whith my new mk2 punto its got sat nav too

cheers:D

about your question i would just hook it up to the red [could be orange too]usually red wire the 12v wire wich powers the sat nav . cuz when you turn the ignition off it turns off so that would be problem solved i would think(y)

i could be wrong tho:bang: give it a go and if it dont work post your reply back

anybody know which output on the connect nav i can use to use as an amp remote wire. I dont have a cdc so i think i can use the power output for that, but dont know which one it is? Anybody got a wiring diagram or knowledge as to which output i can use?

I dont want to use an inline switch to switch it on, as i know i will forget to switch it off, and drain my delicate stilo battery. Any help is much appreciated (y)

My install is now done, and will start wiring tommorow, so quick replies much appreciated

Look for this pictures. Text is in Italian but you will see that you must use "C" connector and pin "6" for remote amp switch.
