Technical Connect NAV+ playing cd's

Hi, my first post on here so be gentle with me!! Just bought an Abarth Stilo and love it!!! However finding the cd/mp3 player infuriating, when I switch on the stereo, the radio comes on even if i was listening to a cd when it was switched off. So when you change to cd/mp3 it defaults to the first track!!
Picture this typical run to work:
Switch on, radio starts, change to cd, plays from the start. Drop my daughter off at school, switch off. Get back in, switch on - radio comes on, change back to cd - starts at track 1 gain - GGGRRRRRRRRRR how anoying is that?? Shurley there must be a option in the myriad of setting on the stereo?
Think software version is 8.3 so shall do an update asap.

Yes, this is an issue that bugs all of us - even with 9.8, it is still the same. Fingers crossed that the next update will fix it [although 9.9 is very buggy as well].

Cheers for the rapid response - not the answer I wanted though!!! Even a cheepo cd player from halfords will resume from where it was last playing. If I has a cd changer fitted would this also restart at disk 1 track 1 when you switch on? Or am I just :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

Yes, the Blaupunkt CDC is just as bad when it comes to memory, or lack of

We are hoping a s/ware revision in the future will cure it, though. Fingers crossed

But don't get your hopes up too high, as we've all been hoping for this for at least 3 years now
