Had a weird one yesterday. Started my car and after initialising, radio came on. It then proceeded to turn the volume up by itself - you could see it increasing - carried on, so I had to quickly mute it. Volume knob had no effect and neither did the steering wheel controls.

Switched it to CD player and then no noise, as it wasn't playing.

Carried on driving and all of a sudden, it switched itself to radio again, blaring out really loud, then changed frequency itself.

Managed to silence it again by muting.

Turned engine off and on again. Happened again, similarily. Switched off and on and managed to drive home with radio muted.

It occured to me that the problem might be coming from the steering wheel controls - the wheel was replaced a month or so ago due to one of the paddles breaking. So, I booked it in for today at the Fiat dealer that did the change.

Got up this morning and proceeded to drive to dealer - not a peep, problem cured by 'itself'. Therefore I rang to cancel. Not done it since.

Weird.

Hello Italian electrics....:chin:

Indeed - one of the infamous blips, usually cured next morning!

Remember my 'lights' thread a few months back, every warning light possible to do with any light came on - never happened since ;)

And what do you know ? In typical Stilo fashion, it's now back again. Start the engine and within 20-30 seconds, it wants to record voice memos, activates the voice control and then stops it again immediately.

Pain in the f**king arse it is.

So, off to the incompetents at Sunwin Derby on Saturday to see if they can rectify what they most likely caused.

*Sigh*
