computer help- graphics? please help!!!

well have reloaded my windows xp disk and it seems the only option for the screen revolution is 8 bit? its a mess, and all black and white with crap colours and you can see all the pixels, its difficult to even read what im writing cos its so bad!

how can i sort this out? before there was a few options for it but now there is 1 which is 8 bit

please help me!

you need to install the correct graphics card drivers for your graphics card. You'll be able to download them from the graphics cars manufacturers website, or the website for the company you bought your computer from.

its just a standard dell inspiron 1150 laptop? any ideas where abouts il get them?

If you have a service tag, you may get even more specific drivers..

Link is set to your model and windows xp OS at the moment

Didn't we go through all this before, and getting DELL drivers from DELL support website

thats got loads and all different, slightly confusing lol

would i be able to put my dell disk in? it says- 'for reinstalling dell inspiron system software'

diagnostics and utilities

so can i put that in? will that do it?

should bloody hope so, key word is Device drivers there!!!

Seriously, should be fine, as long as it is the right cd, and your not like me with 25 driver cd's and 3 Pc's!!
