Panda (Classic) completely new to this whole thing

Hello fiat forum,

Just picked up my first fiat panda 750 mania in red, 1992.

Not had one before, but understand they're economical, reliable and fairly straight forward to work on.

I'm currently considering a van conversion, if only I can source the bits...

But anyway thanks for having me, this place looks very useful.

van conversion..?? do you mean camper.. or just removing rear gubbins for more space..??

Van conversion parts are hen teeth having never been officially imported into this country (UK)

There are some on fleebay at the moment and probably worth the asking price.

As in sourcing the van parts which are indeed like hen teeth in the UK. Spotted the ones on eBay and they're a bit out of my budget, understandably because they're brand new.

I'm hoping to find some really shabby ones for cheap, maybe sourced from Europe somewhere. I have a swiss friend who had an old swiss post fiat van but chucked the bits out a while back! so close yet so far.

Can't remember who but someone on here has a post van in the UK and I'm sure there was a mention of importing some panels.

I'm also sure there is a van thread on here if you look hard enough
