Technical Complete anti roll bar

Has any1 replaced there anti roll bar if so how much and where from as Ive removed mine ready to fit new 1 but dont wanna pay dealers price, hoping to find an after market one but no luck so far.

Was thinking of replacing just bushes but decided agaist that when i saw the state it was in once removed.

£110 phone powerflex and ask for bushes you will never do them again.

Just looked on their site but nothing listed for multipla.

Have you fitted these to yours?
How much did they cost?

No ive not fitted them but if you ring them with the sizes of the bushes they will be able to offer something that will do the job.
Please post the part numbers on here if you do.

Who quoted you £110 for a complete antiroll bar as the best price i got so far is £122.67 inc vat.

How do you wear out an anti roll bar?

Change the bushes and refit. Search the forum, some say they have fitted bushes from a Marea and i have modified and fitted bushes from a Saab 9000.
If you have been able to remove the roll bar you can also cut in some rubber.

i no its not the same but i replaced a front arb on an old vauxhall sintra i had and being a novice it was surprisingly easy to do so i d recommend giving it a go yourslelf cant see there being too much of a dif between the 2.

i will have a look at my multipla later and see if its similair for u ok

p.s. only took me about 3 hours to remove and fit, main dealer quoted me approx 8 hours labour

I took mine off in about 1/2 an hour, hoping put the new one along with new droplinks on, on thursday looks a simple job.
Hopefully get it done within the hour.

Only managed get mine off so quick as it was vertually hanging off anyway.

Looks like i may have bought a pig in a poke. (only had it 12 months took it for MOT this week what shock that was, luckily managed to get most as adviseries).

PM numanR as I believe he can get bushes seperate (cheap)...cant rememeber exactly but there was a post on this in multipla section.
