I would appreciate some advice from those with more knowledge than me.

I have a 2010 Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross fitted with 15" alloy wheels, when I got the car it had 4 different tyres fitted to it, so these were quickly replace for 4 new matching tyres. I have though kept the best of the 4 that were originally fitted hoping to use this to replace the sace saver.

I have trawled through the forum to try and find an answer before posting a question on here, but to be honest I tied myself in knots trying to come up with the correct answer.

I am after a steel wheel of 15" that I can fit the full size tyre to 175/65/15 so that I don't have to rely on the space saver. I would prefer a steel wheel so that if ever I do get a puncture and have to use the spare because it's a steel it will prompt me to get it sorted asap.

Am I correct in thinking that a Punto 15" steel wheel will fit??? if so what year Punto should this be from, if not a Punto what other model fiat should I be looking at for the correct wheel.

Things like the correct offset and PDC are the thing that concerns me with not understanding the fiat sizes across the range with been new to them as of February of this year.

Any advice would be genuinely appreciated .... Thank you!

Well I can't give you a specific answer but any Fiat steel 15" wheel should do, as long as it's not too wide (check the spec of your alloys....). Yoiur 175 tyres are narrow by modern standards so ideally a 5 1/2" or 6" rim is needed.

I don't think any "proper" Puntos (i.e. true Fiat not the the GM-based Grande with 100 mm PCD...) had 15" steels but a few 500 1.4s did, otherwise your best bet is a basic Stilo (1.2 or 1.6). Should be plenty of used wheels available to try...

My Panda 100hp wears these Punto wheels:

You need to find the offset for the Cross wheels really - it'll be stamped on the inside.

My Punto wheels are ET35 6.0 by 15 inch. Standard 100hp wheels ate ET30 6.5x15

Thank you for the replies, I'll do just that and see if I can find a steel wheel with the correct pdc etc... Maybe a trip to a scrap yard might be the best idea if I can find one local to me.

:)

This seems to suggest a 5.5x14 inch wheel with offset of 35mm. A 15 inch 6x15 ET35 (like my Punto wheel) would have the inside rim 0.25 inches closer to the suspension etc. So you might need spacers.
