Hi guys,

I have a registered version of MES - 4.61 and today I did a 30 minutes test drive. Whether it is idling (750 rpm when warm, as it should be), 30 mph, or 75 mph (3500 rpm at 5th gear), regardless of the speed and rpm, both coils charge times are around 2.4 ms.

Engine is 1.1 - 2006.

Is this normal? Should be coil charge time higher as rpm and engine speed go up or I obviously don't understand how it functions.

If you are asking about high voltage ignition coil/s for a petrol engine then the coil charge time does not vary with rpm of engine.
