Technical clutch replacement on punto mark 2

doing clutch on punto over the next few days, done it a years ago on one of my previous Puntos, cant remember but do both drive shafts need to come out or just the n/s many thanks forum dwellers

Long time for me too..


You have to drop the Gearbox

So I would completely remove left side strut and hub..with driveshaft all as 1 assembly ( remove brake caliper 1st and the out of the way )

Removing battery tray makes access easier..and access to the clutch slave and Starter motor bolts are then improved.

Look on panda 169 section (04 on its the same tech as your 188 punto) as thert will be newer threads with current members to 'fill in the gaps'
