Clutch question..help please..

Hi all
Need some advice on a strange clutch problem experienced for the first time this evening.
Got in the car & started as normal then noticed that my clutch was stuck- pressed in slighly.Adjusted it back to its normal position by pulling it up with my toes and it seems alright now.
Seems strange.Never happened before in the 8 months I've had the car.
Is this anything to be wary of or is it normal for this to happen.
Its a 96 Brava 1.6 16v .

No ,I thought that at first
But it was almost half way down-no carpet involved!!.??

Drove it again this morning-no problems...real mystery

i had that happen to me, except it happened loads, a had to keep pulling it up, then my car died, i couldnt change gear or anything, it was tha slave cylinder...i think thats what they said it was called...it wasnt much to repair though

Yeah clutch slave cylinder, it sits on top of your gearbox housing, its underneath the battery tray. Cost 25 quid to buy, 15 min to fit. Battery off, battery tray out, clamp clutch tube so no fluid pisses out, remove two 10mm bolts holding cylinder to car, unscrew hose from slave cylinder, fitting is exactly the same in reverse order.
