Technical clutch problems?

finally got my cranks sensor sorted and car is running. jumped in today and i can't push the clutch down? i can select gears whilst engine is off but no running. all i did was jack it up i didn't knock anything or go near any pipes. car was driving fine, apart from the sensor before i parked up to fix it. could it be the master/slave cylinder.
the first time i fitted the sensor is noticed i couldn't press the clutch but the day after i could but again now i can't.
i hope i haven't bought a dud lol

All sorted. weridest thing. i think at some point before someone had a go at the egr valve. but dropped a hex key. when i jacked it up it fell behind the clutch arm. so it wouldn't move. they obviously didn't get the egr off as when i did it it was filthy.
at least i don't have to fit anything else new
