Previous owner of my Bravo had the clutch done around 18mths ago and the gearbox replaces a couple months ago. When it's cold, the clutch seems normal but the more you drive it, it starts to judder. It's especially bad when you've been in stop/start traffic for a bit, have to rev it to about 2k-2.5k and be really gentle letting the peddle up so it crawls away, else it can feel like RWD axle tramp!
Possibly related, it sometimes really clunks/crunches into reverse....you know, like the clutch isn't properly disengaged. It sometimes also needs a double de-clutch to get it into first.
Again, possibly related, there's a metalic skimming sound when the engine is running which speeds up/down with the engine.
For the judder, could the pressure plate be knackered? For the noise, could it be as simple as a bent gearbox cover plate fouling against the flywheel?
Or is it more likely that the flywheel is warped and it's all tied in?
Thoughts?
