Technical Clutch cable problem?

Hi all,

This video is me repeatedly fully compressing and releasing the clutch pedal.

Does this look like the normal amount of movement in the cable or a problem?

I’m sorry I can’t tell you if that’s the normal range of movement, but it’s certainly moving a reasonable amount?

It’s a simple system, as long as the cable isn’t broken and is attached at both ends (which it clearly is as you’re getting some movement), and you haven’t got excessive slack in the cable (causing the pedal to move a long way before it starts to pull on the clutch fork) then it will be moving the arm the normal amount.

But what is the issue you’re experiencing? Do you feel the clutch is dragging?

The correct amount of movement does not mean that the clutch is correctly adjusted.
