Might be patently obvious, but there is a cloud symbol on the Panda Multijet Sporting with an exclamation mark on the RHS of the speedometer. Handbook doesn't say what it is.

Could it be the warning light (for diesel models only) that lights up to indicate when you're choking those behind with your cunning "smoke screen" from the exhaust !!!
Cough....cough...:yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

Tee Hee Hee !!!!!!!!

At first I thought it was something to do with ESP/ASR.
But I looked in my handbook (which was an ASR/ESP supplement) and there was no reference to it.

Local fiat garage didn't know what it was either. Basically said I shouldn't worry about it and that it was for another model.

Anyway the cloud symbol is just below the 120 on the dial.

could it be for traction control? or my mate has one of them sensors on his clio that when it rains the windscreen wipers turn on automatically. was this a option on the panda? maybe linked to that

I know what that is...

It lets you know when high altitude cirrus clouds that are typically detached from one another and almost always made of tiny ice crystals are approaching. Cirrus is Latin for "wisp of hair" and refers to the clouds fibrous appearance. It's ingenious of Fiat to include such an advanced warning system on a sub-£12,000 car!

I would hazard a guess that if rain sensor wipers are available on the panda as an extra or different model, this lights up when there is a fault with them

It must tell you to close your skydome when it rains, just incase you hadn't noticed:) .

its on the Punto as well, i had been wondering what it was about. telling my friends it was a barometer :D

I have this as well. Its not traction control as there is definately no TC on the multijet (wheelspin isn't exactly a problem for the most part). The wipers don't turn on automatically either.

I'm not sure whats it for, I do notice that there are a few symbols like the tyre one above it (which i think is more likely TC) that are redundant as well. Not sure what the steering wheel one is either. Power steering fluid? no idea!

Tyre symbol for traction control, steering wheel light for the electric power steering.

It's for the rain sensing wipers. They are optional in some countries and as somebody has said it's probably the warning light to say it's not working. I'm pretty sure you can get cruise control as well in other countries - why does the UK have to miss out on these features?
