i have a 2007 fiat ducato bessacarr motorhome with 45 thousand miles on the clock. the other morning i started it up to bring it for doe test, and i noticed that the yellow abs warning light last on, also the low fuel/diesel light was flashing yellow, also the spedo and rev counter clocks were not working neither were the electric windows and the indicators or hazzard lights, although the wipers and fan were working fine and it drove fine, needless to say i couldnt bring it for test . i started and stopped it numerous times same result . i then disconnected the battery for a while in the hope i might reset something , it didnt . yesterday istarted it to move it and everything was fine, everything worked happy days . this happened for the next 3 or 4 starts . now im back to square one , with the light and windows not working again.
can anybody help or make any suggestions please
regards
Jim

Please check the VIN number. Does it have the form ZFA244xxxxxx, or the later ZFA250xxxxx? The x244 waas produced until mid 2006, so either model is possible with a 2007 motorhome conversion.

The x250 has a known problem with corrosion in the crimped terminal lugs on the engine block earth strap. The possibility of tis problem can be eliminated by the temporary connection of a jump lead between the engine block, and a clean chassis connection.

For more info try searching the Forum for "earth strap".
