Hi,
When the wipers are in use there is a loud Clicking noise. Might be the relay?
Having done the research it seems it could be a fuse issue? A replacement could solve?
Anyone else have this?
Thanks
Hi,Hi HannsG. Does this loud click occur on each sweep of the wipers as the wiper returns from it's highest point back to rest?
Hi,
Yes it occurs in that way.
Hi,Hi, HannsG. Your not going to believe this, but as the wiper blade gets to the top of it's stroke ,the wiper rubber returns on it's self with a loud click. The wiper rubber flicks back on it's self. It's amazingly loud. I found that when it rains heavily the noise diminishes. I must admit I do not know the answer. I have a feeling it could be the spring on the arm has weakened over time.I've tried different windscreen washers to no avail. I suspected that there was some wax or something similar on the screen but have cleaned the screen still no result. It's annoying but I just live with it. If you watch the wiper you will see it flick back and hear the click at the same time

Wiper blades are supposed to flip over at the end of stroke. Those which don't, generally judder in one direction.
Bend the corner of a piece of paper. Now try to flatten it again. Impossible.
Original blades can also be given a new lease of life. Slide the rubber out and replace the other way around. Now the 'up' side becomes the 'down'. Can't do that with aeros.
I've got aeros on the Fiesta. Over several cars now, they've all often left unwiped bits around the centre of the blade, presumably due to low pressure. I tried some aeros on the Panda, replaced them after two weeks, as they did the same. The design of the aeros seem to even out the pressure and cause the centre to lift slightly. Just at the most important area.
On mine you can unclip the plastic arm adaptor...
Then use the whole blade upside down..
You can, but then the 'spoiler' is wrong. Let us know what happens at speed or high wind.
...unless the arm is bent. Usually from some muppet (in this case me) turning on the wipers while the blades were frozen to the screen.Bending the arm is an attempt to address the effect, not the cause.
