Technical cinquecento 899cc.max compression

Had the head skimed twice on a cinq.When i measured the c:r it worked out at 10.3 to 1 .When the car was back on the road I thought I would experience some pinking,but it goes ok on this ratio .Has anyone tried anything higher than this.

Normal 'pump' fuel is ok upto about 10.5:1

Could be, but the ignition is calibrated on the 8.8 CR.
