Technical Cinq Sporting Performance Chip

Just bought a chip off Mckcrich and it works a treat, took me 15 mins to replace and my car started first time, still does, purrs like a kitten, still has the immobilizer working, and got more ooomph to my car.
My Little Fiat aint never gonna be a speed rocket but it does more since i fitted this chip. Good power in each gear.
Simple fitting and im a newbie at all this. Well woth buying

Did you have a specific map for the 1108 Cinq Sporting with GSR induction, tricker 40mm, Janspeed or similar 4 into one manifold, de-cat, janspeed exhaust?

I have one of your chips in the ECU but idle seems a bit rich and lumpy and speeding up seems a bit flat above 4000rpm and pointless reving above 6000.

I wondered if that chip's map was intended for a standard sporting?

Hi Ian,
firstly the problems you have are unlikely to be from my chip. With the exception of the de-cat I ran exactly the same setup as you have (as have a number of others) without any problems.

I supply two types of chip one works with the immobiliser the other disables it. if you email me a picture I should be able to tell from the labels

I can check out the chip but in reality I would have to charge the same price as a new one because the work would be more than producing a new chip.

If I were you I would check other things first. So far (touch wood) I have not had a chip fail ever. Have you got an original ECU to check if its to do with the chip or the ECU.

Just been on the RR with this chip and the quality of the map was commented on. No issues from what they could see.

They dont fit in the 899cc only the fire engines, and dependant on whether the chip in ur ecu is soldered then its a straight swop

2002 1108 will be MPI, so you need a remap. Best bet,do all the other mods first.
