General Cigarette Lighter

Hello again,

I've been havin problems with my cigarette lighter and using it as a charger for my Sat-Nav. I have already been through 1 so far but the new on I have wont charge. Any ideas????

dunno if its the same as my tom tom 1 xl.
it works when plugged in, as soon as its not plugged in the gash battery lasts appox 1minute...crap
