Chrysler Ypsilon Blue&Me

Hi,
I bought a 2014 Chrysler Ypsilon which has the common issue with its blue&me module. its showing the normal signs like flashing mileage, disabled USB port, and no communication with bluetooth. ive looked around for either a replacement, or even someone to repair this specific part:

would replacing it with a module that has a different number affect it or should it be fine?

I had this exact problem when I changed my battery….left the battery disconnected then overnight reconnected in the morning and everything was fine…..don’t assume it is a faulty module see if you can find someone to hook up and do a proxy alignment first……..however if it is found to be faulty this company do repairs on the module…. https://www.revtronic.com/
