General Chester Garage

We recently purchased a 1972 500. We have driven her a couple of times but we have had problems with her on both journeys. In particular, when we stop at traffic lights or a junction, she doesn’t accelerate away and konks out! Can anyone recommend a garage in the Cheshire area who knows what they are doing? Thanks!!

Where about in Chester are you? To the best of my knowledge there is not a "500 friendly" garage in Chester--but I Iive in Saltney and do have some experience with 500s [email protected]. Has your car still got the 500 engine, or has it been uprated to a "126" 652cc engine?

Wow! We are on Hough Green so very close. It still has the 500 engine.
