Technical Checking oil level in steering box

Is it possible to check oil level in gear box while it’s installed on a car? Or it’s impossible because of angle?

Obviously easier on a garage ramp, but given it is only a small unit the level either way will not be greatly affected.
The main thing is to be able to know there is oil in the steering box, whether is up or down by 10mm will not be critical.

Make sure safely supported, a few minutes doing that or a long time dead, never trust jacks.
