General Check Oil Pressure

I was in a deserted car park the other night and turned round to the right really sharply, at which point the on board computer said turn of engine and check oil pressure.

Does this always happen when the Stilo gets turned sharply. It didnt happen when i turned to the left

Well don't turn to the right really sharply! Ha!
The oil surges to the left and the oil feed gets starved of oil so you end up with a momentary loss of oil pressure. Nothing much you can do except make sure that the oil level is correct

Dont get much chance to turn to sharply anyway unless i get a deserted car park.

you'll have to do better than that if you're that desperate for new set of boots

My car needs a new set of front tyres soon , not going to be cheap. The car does actually seem to be quite hard to unsettle. Compared to a small little 1.2 buzz box chevvy anyway
