So I have this screenshot from the Torque app that reads codes through a simple bluetooth OBD2 adapter.
* Car: 2014, 1.2 gasoline, manual, EU spec
* The symptoms: check engine light, yellow triangle light, texts "check engine" and "start-stop not available"; car runs normally
* When: randomly at any normal driving conditions once per week average
* How cleared: usually clears after few ignition off/on cycles; also clears with battery disconnect/reconnect; code does not stay in memory, when the check engine light goes away, scanner shows nothing; only shows P181D when I happen to scan while the check engine light is on
I added the screenshot because on the rare occasions this code is mentioned on the internet, people think it is a typo, ask if it is P1810 instead, etc. But this is indeed the code and I understand that part of the problem is that it seems to be pretty rare. There is only one post on this forum here with this code and it ended inconclusively.
Any advise greatly appreciated.
